Basically there are several points with engineering section of the solar system, we will teach you and hold your hand all the way and make sure that you have the concept in your hand, just rest assured that we are always there and stand behind out products and services.

Here are 3 little process:

1) Site Survey: Site surveyor will contact you and set up appropriate date and time to visit the site and what he will do is to measure the roof, how the conduit will run as well as location of the equipment and the main service panel.

2) Drafting/Planing: As soon as the site surveyor complete the inspection and give the report with related images to drafts man and that person will finish the plan package with good knowledge of city construction code and its ready to pull permit.

3) Permitting: Permit process should be straight forward process, runner will take the plan package to the building and safety of the installation and pay fees, how ever there are several cities that will accept application and permit process online.

The Solar plan is to show:

  • Compliance with National Electric Code

  • Stamped approved plan with job card
The Structural PE stamp:
Some times city require structural stamp,, which including, load calculation, seismic, wind, dead load, support beams and as well as code compliance
The Electrical PE stamps:
Some times city require electrical stamp,, which including, load calculation, wire size, energy audit and as well as code compliance
The Permitting is to:

The Utility/PTO/PPA paperwork:
Every solar installation must be approved by local utility in order to connect to grid and they are few documents that needs to be submitted such as, Interconnection agreement, rebate form (if any), single line diagram, recent electrical bill

100 Amp Service panel:

100Amp are generally used in residential applications and it could be 110V or 240V, single phase and usually old style and most likely you wont find any breakers to replace or to add to them, so upgrade is highly recommended.
